Micks of Micksburg
The descendents of Peter Mick and Elizabeth (Schumacher) Shoemaker who came to Canada from Ireland in the 1840's and settled in a place which came to be known as Micksburg.
The FAMILY TREE and ALBUMS sections of our website is dedicated to Beulah (Mick) Jelly (#903, 1916 - 1997). The data that she collected over ten years of dedicated research (then organized and published in 1992) forms the basis of these two sections. This in turn hopefully helps bring our heritage to life and draws our now very extended family closer together.
